TECHNICIAN FOR WOVEN GARMENTS & TECHNICIAN FOR KNIT GARMENTS

This role will provide hands-on follow-up on our production throughout Indonesia.

This position will be based in Indonesia but extensive travelling also to other South East Asian countries is required.

Accountabilities:

    Responsible for all technical aspects and activities related to the quality of Gerry Weber products from Proto development to Sampling through Fit approvals up to Bulk production follow-up.
    Instructing Gerry Weber quality requirements and working procedures to new suppliers.
    Controlling the production process on site with regard to quality standard and production timelines.
    Conducting In-line and Final Inspections.
    Connecting link between Supplier, our Shanghai Regional Office and the Gerry Weber Headquarter in Germany by having frequent communication with them on all aspects of product quality and production status.
    Supplier Assessments.

Requirements:

    Tailor with further education / training as Pattern Maker or Garment Technician / Engineer;
    Minimum 5 years work experience in Garment Production;
    Good communication skills in spoken and written English; German knowledge is a plus;
    Proactive, self motivated and able to work under pressure;
    Flexibility and Tolerance with the ability and willingness to adapt to the working environment of different South East Asian Countries.

Main Responsibilities:

    Resource load schedules and maintain a Primavera based earned value systemon projects. Analyze and report Project progress and manpower requirements.
    Monitor and maintain project budgets/estimates.
    Update and evaluate the accuracy of the project forecast by assessing actual cost incurred and physical progress achieved for all phases of project.
    Preparation of presentations/reports including Weekly/ Monthly/ MIS reports.
    Consolidate data in the schedule and in project cost reports for Project in charge review.
    Prepare and update, on a regular basis, project cash flow forecasts.
    Support Project Manager in contingency and change order management.

EDUCTAION &SKILLS REQUIRED

    Bachelor of Engineering, preferably in Civil.
    Minimum five years experience in handling large project as Project Planner & Controller.

    To ensure the relevance, accuracy and timeliness of such data and consolidate such into approved reporting formats ready for further review by direct reports.
    Prepare project summary and critical review documents for presentation to senior executives and potential partners and owners.

Due Diligence:

    To carry out effective due diligence in accordance with agreed and implemented systems and processes in line with corporate requirements to determine viability of new projects, including site inspection and market supply/demand analysis and to determine integrity of all new projects through comprehensive Developer investigation.

General and Administrative (Planning):

    To monitor the status of current projects and assist in updating the Deal Tracker to ensure the most up to date information is available to the Development Team by way of the above report.
    To execute the tasks and responsibilities for Administrative Projects, including Board Papers, preparing and maintaining relevant Pipeline Analyses and reports,
    To assist where directed in the preparation of the strategic expansion plan and policy development plan.
    Tracking and evaluating the latest market trends, key lodging stats, supply and demand trends, cap/discount rates, debt/equity trends, and performance benchmark in the markets where company’s existing and pipeline assets are located
    To establish strong working relationships with local and international resource contacts to assist in the information gathering process.

Skill Requirement:

    Proficient in developing complex hotel real estate modelling, analytical tools and presentations using Microsoft Excel and Power Point
    Working knowledge of various facets of hotel  market feasibility analysis and real estate investments analysis particularly in a development planning / asset management role
    Hotel management knowledge is crucial
